The Marianne Center is entirely in Kenyan hands. The board consists of Bernard Thairu, Lucy Kiura and Omondi Okoyo. Nelie Janssen is also a board member of the Kenyan foundation and, together with the Dutch foundation, provides oversight through regular meetings and digital communication.
